It looks like visiting Disneyland on May 9 and May 10 is unavailable. I'm wondering if it's because the park reservations are full or is it the ticket we have?

    Hi there, Julia,

My family and I are getting ready for a visit to The Happiest Place on Earth soon too. We are looking forward to it. So I imagine you are too. So I’m hopeful that I can offer some advice to help make that happen.

You are correct that theme park reservation availability depends on the type of theme park ticket. Here is the reservation availability calendar for one park per day tickets. And this calendar shows availability for Park Hopper tickets.

The good news is that reservation availability can vary. When other Guests need to change their plans, they can cancel their current park reservations to book another date. I recommend frequently checking the calendar for your ticket type for new availability. For example, as I’m writing this, the one park per day calendar currently shows availability for at least one park on the dates you mentioned. And when I look at the Park Hopper calendar, I see that at least one of those dates has some availability.

I also recommend double-checking the “Future Plans” screen of the Disneyland mobile app or the "Plans" page on the Disneyland Resort website. If you recently purchased your theme park tickets directly from Disney, there’s a good chance that you already have the reservations you are hoping for. That is because when purchasing tickets online or in the mobile app, you also automatically go through the process of booking your theme park reservations.

Tony’s Tip: If you are a Guest of one of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels, you can take advantage of theme park reservations exclusively for hotel Guests. To access these reservations, stop by the "My Hotel Reservations" page to start the process of booking a new theme park reservation from there.

I’m wishing on a star that you find the reservations you are hoping for, Julia. And I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort.
