Daniel from WA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

It looks like the River Belle Terrace Fantasmic dining package is unavailable after Labor Day. True? Is there any other place for us mid-70 year olds to sit besides the ground for the show?

Hiya, Daniel! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you stopped by with your question as Fantasmic! is one of my all-time favorite Disneyland experiences! There is just something about the music and Disney storytelling that sweeps you off your feet and right into Mickey's imagination!

It sounds like you are very well versed in the Disneyland Nighttime Spectaculars and dining package options! The River Belle Terrace Premium Dining Package is a great way to experience the show while dining on a Fantasmic! inspired menu. Other than the World of Color Dessert Party, this is the only location that offers a dine and watch option. I did a little digging, and I think the reason you are not seeing available is that after Labor Day, Fantasmic! moves to a weekends-only schedule, performing on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. It looks like you will be in the parks on a Monday, which is why that date is in gray on the calendar. If you look to the weekend before or after, it will allow you to search for times. This is a very popular dining event and it looks like it may be booked for your surrounding weekends at this moment, but I recommend continuing to check back as Guests are always changing their plans and reservations can open up!

While I know that was not the news you were hoping for regarding Fantasmic!, I do have some GREAT news about World of Color at Disney California Adventure Park! This magical spectacle of lights, music, water, and projections will be showing on September 26th, and it looks like there's even some remaining availability for the World of Color Dessert Party! Availability is always subject to change, so if this is something you are interested in, I would go ahead and book it!  I got to experience the dessert party this spring with my fellow panelist Carrie for a Moms-night-out, and we had a great time! You'll check in about an hour before the show and be escorted to a table. You will have your choice of a front row, low-top table, or a back row, high-top table. I highly recommend the high top as you'll have an elevated view of the show over the Guests in front of you. You'll be served a plate of rainbow-inspired sweet treats (and a few savory options) and even get to enjoy a beverage of your choice. Relax, sit back and enjoy the show from your very cozy, seated spot!

Daniel, I truly hope you have a magical visit! If you have any more questions, please come back to see us here at planDisney

    See ya real soon!
