Looks like rain is in the forecast for 2/1 when we are scheduled to go to Animal Kingdom. Would u can the trip and schedule park hopper for another day or go for it. P.S Traveling with a toddler and two teens.

Hello again, Julieann! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Your trip is super close now! A major milestone in the countdown is when you can see the current weather forecast for the days you will be there. How exciting!

I absolutely love rainy days at the Walt Disney World Resort. The crowds tend to be lighter and with so many attractions, queues, dining locations, and merchandise locations indoors, there are a lot of breaks from the rain. I have also noticed that there is rarely a day where it rains all day. It often starts and stops instead.

In my opinion, I would keep the day you have planned at Disney's Animal Kingdom. I recommend taking some ponchos with you or purchasing them in the theme parks. They actually do a great job of keeping you dry and during this time of year you won't get very hot. We purchased ponchos in Epcot a few years ago during a rainy day and we still take them with us to use every trip. They are very durable! We also bought one to cover our stroller and use it every time we go on an attraction. Even if it isn't raining at the time, you never know when it will begin and coming out to a soaked stroller isn't very fun!

I hope this helps you plan your rainy day, Julieann! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
