It looks like the Pixar Place Hotel pool is closed for refurbishment. If it’s still closed when we are there (in three weeks), are we allowed to visit neighboring resort pools?

Hi there, Christopher! Welcome to planDisney. What a fun way to kick off the New Year by staying on property at the Pixar Place Hotel! One of my favorite things about this hotel is the unique designs and details that truly make you feel like you've stepped inside a Pixar movie. I understand you're hoping to take a dip in the pools during your stay, so let's take a look at where you can start splashing around like Crush and Nemo!

At the time of your arrival, the Pixar Place Hotel pools will still be closed for refurbishment. However, after doing a little digging myself, you're still in luck when it comes to pool time. Guests staying at Pixar Place Hotel are welcome to use the pools at the neighboring Disneyland Hotel. You can simply let the front desk at Pixar Place Hotel know you'd like to use the Disneyland Hotel pools, and they can help guide you on how to get there. My favorite part of those pools is the retro-themed design, from the E-Ticket Pool inspired by theme park tickets of yesteryear to the thrilling Monorail water slides. It's such a fun way to take a break from the parks!

While you're visiting the Disneyland Hotel, consider grabbing a bite at Goofy's Kitchen. This lively character dining experience is full of laughter and silliness with Goofy and his pals. From waving napkins during their dance parties to enjoying classic favorites like Mickey waffles, the fun never stops. Be sure to make reservations as soon as possible, as they do tend to fill up quickly.

Your arrival also coincides with the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend, taking place January 29 through February 1. Race weekends bring an extra buzz of excitement to the resort. Even if you’re not participating in a race, you can still stop by the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo held at the Disneyland Hotel. There's so much to see and do, and who knows, it might even inspire you to sign up for a future magical run!

Christopher, I hope this information helps you make the most of your stay and enjoy some poolside fun during your visit. I know you'll have a blast zooming down those Monorail slides at the Disneyland Hotel pools! If you have any additional questions, planDisney is always here to help.
