It looks like the monorail no longer stops at hotel(or any other outside stop) is this right?

Greetings, Cole, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

It looks like you may already be enjoying your magical vacation at the Happiest Place on Earth, and I hope it’s everything you’ve always dreamed of! The Disneyland Monorail is one of my favorite modes of transportation inside the Disneyland Resort. Not only is it easy to use, but my kids love it, too! The Disneyland Monorail makes two stops, including one at Downtown Disney District, and one at Tomorrowland. So, you’re correct that the Monorail no longer stops at any of the Disneyland Resort Hotels. However, the Downtown Disney District station is very close to all three Disneyland Resort Hotels, especially the Disneyland Hotel! In fact, all three Disneyland Resort Hotels are within walking distance of the Downtown Disney District station. You’ll find the Tomorrowland station located directly above Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage.

The Monorails run approximately every 10 minutes. Guests are treated to a 13-minute round-trip journey over 2.5 miles of track. My family loves seeing both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park from this special vantage point!

Please stop by with any additional planning questions you may have… I’m all EARs, Cole!

Hope to see ya’ real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
