It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Nicole! Snacking my way around Walt Disney World Resort is one of my favorite things to do so I've become a master of getting the most out of those
Disney Dining Plan Snack credits. There are so many amazing snacks to try, like the Pineapple Upside Down Cake topped with Dole Whip from
Aloha Isle at
Magic Kingdom Park, or my personal favorite snack from
Disney's Animal Kingdom, the French Fries with Pulled Pork and Cheese from
Flame Tree Barbecue. They're both Snack credit-eligible menu items on the Dining Plan and are both things I choose when I'm looking for something that's going to be a great bang for my buck.
Disney Dining Plan credits are super flexible and don't really have a specific assigned dollar value. Because of this, you're able to use your Snack credits on less expensive things like bottled water or soda, or on some really spectacular snacks like the Funnel Cake with Cookies 'n' Cream and Soft-Serve Vanilla Ice Cream from
Epic Eats at
Disney's Hollywood Studios, which was somewhere around eight dollars the last time I had it! To make things simple with all of those factors and moving parts, your Dining Plan credits can only be used on items that are eligible and you can not use them to make a partial payment on something while paying the rest in cash. Be sure to check the menus when you arrive because they're changing all the time so you never know when something new might pop up or something you're looking forward to might become available on the Dining Plan!
Have a magical day, Nicole!
