Bright Suns, Cheryl!
We hope that your upcoming
Disneyland Resort vacation is totally out of this galaxy, so let’s make it so by getting you the information you need. But first, I’ve got a joke for you since we are talking about characters like BB-8, C-3PO, and R2-D2. Question: what kind of device does one of these guys need to keep in touch with their home planet? Answer: an anDROID! Ok, this is the point where my kids would start eye rolling, so I hope I didn’t just get this same response from you!
Definitely one of the highlights of a visit to
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is creating a droid at the
Droid Depot. You will be happy to hEAR that with the current operational guidelines, the Droid Depot does not require a reservation, so you will just make the jump to lightspeed to this location and start building! I don’t know about you, but as the Disney planner in my family, I love it when there’s one less reservation I have to make.
My teen son’s favorite Christmas gift a few years ago was a remote controlled BB-8; he played with it nonstop! So I can imagine that he will certainly want to build a custom droid at Droid Depot on our next Disneyland vacation! Just as an FYI:
Savi’s Workshop-Handbuild Lightsabers still requires a reservation, so if that is on your radar, you’ll need to have one to participate. Furthermore, this experience area is limited to the builder and 1 Guest, and at least one person in the party must be age 14 or older.
Cheryl, I know you won’t be coming back for my jokes, but please consider stopping back by planDisney if we can help you with Disneyland vacation planning. Now go have fun with that family of yours as you build an amazing droid and have a BLAST in
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!
Reach for the stars!
Sherry
