It looks like there aren't enough lounge chairs by the Old Ke West pools. Can i bring my a beach chair, or do we have to just sot on a towel?

    Howdy Elizabeth!

I am thrilled you're here. Welcome to planDisney and thank you for asking us your question. No Walt Disney World Resort vacation is complete without some splashtastic pool time, so I am excited to answer your inquiry.

My family loves to spend a day or two enjoying the pool on our visits. Not only do they love the water, but the Disney Resort Hotels also offer so many pool-side games and activities. Disney's Old Key West Resort is no different. The sandcastle theming is adorable and who can resist the hidden Mickey waterslide?

I think that you'll be surprised at the number of lounge chairs available. As I recall, there are many seating locations in both shade and sun, depending on the time of day. The resort also has three quiet pools if you find the main pool; particularly crowded during a certain time. Unfortunately, due to safety reasons, you are not permitted to bring your own lounge or beach chair for use near the pool or in any common areas.

While you're visiting, I recommend a visit to one of my favorite Pool Bars--the Gurgling Suitcase. Nothing compliments a hot day at the pool like deep-fried pickle chips, a watermelon lemonade or a Turtle Krawl specialty cocktail.

Have a fantastic vacation, Elizabeth, and please come see us again if there is anything else we can help you with.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
