Hi Kurt,
Traveling with a large family is by far one of the best experiences I have had. While my family spent our days soaking up the sun at our
Disney Resorts Collection hotel pool, experiencing the attractions at Magic Kingdom Park, and enjoying out-of-this-world dining experiences, our best memories included our late-night laughs and card games at our resort.
At the Walt Disney World Resort, nearly all the Resort hotels offer adjoining rooms, and connecting rooms are also available upon request. However, it's important to note that while you can make requests for adjoining or connecting rooms when you book your reservation, these requests aren't guaranteed.
If you need extra space, there are excellent options to accommodate large families. Consider
Disney's Art of Animation Resort, which offers family suites capable of hosting up to six guests with the convenience of two bathrooms. Alternatively, the
Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort provides charming cabins suitable for families of six.
For those seeking even more spacious accommodations, Deluxe Villa Resorts offers fantastic options. At
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, the Treehouse Villas comfortably accommodate up to nine guests. Additionally,
Disney's Old Key West Resort boasts a 3-bedroom grand villa capable of housing up to 12 guests, providing ample space for your large family to enjoy their stay.
If you choose standard resort rooms, where you need connecting rooms, you can request this on your reservation. I highly recommend contacting the Walt Disney World Resort reservation line directly and asking them to place this request on all reservations. Additionally, I recommend taking advantage of
online check-in and you can stop by the front desk to ask if they will be able to accommodate your request.
I hope that you and your extended family make many wonderful memories!
~Heather
