Looking to take my wife and daughter to WDW for their first time. How far in advance can I book a room? If a promotion with better rates or free dining comes up can I reschedule my trip? Thank you.

    Hi Jesus,

So glad to know you are planning a vacation with your family. Sure it is a bit far away, but there is no better time than now to start discovering how The Magic is Endless at Walt Disney World Resort.

Rates for the following year typically become available in the late spring of the prior year. At this time, you can book a Magic Your Way Vacation Package for stays arriving up to December 31st, 2018. That said... you can actually book a room-only stay up to 500 days in advance. You will need to speak to a vacation planning specialist at (407) 939-1936 or your travel agent. Note that rates would be subject to change until the new ones are released.

Mickey tries to help our budgets by offering some incredible Special Offers. These typically become available about six months prior. But if you have a reservation already made, you may be able to apply the offer to it. You may need to adjust your travel dates slightly or change Resort hotels, since availability is limited.

One last tip: my family always have special dinners at the Resort. Be sure to make advanced dining reservations up to 180 days before you arrive. Just visit the Walt Disney World restaurants and reservations page. Happy planning!

    Ricardo.
