    We are looking at the Western Carribbean cruise on the Disney Magic Jan. 2012. What is the general temperature range for this itinerary? Will it be warm enough to enjoy the pools and beaches? Should we pack some cooler weather clothing as well? Thanks!

    That's fantastic that you're considering Disney Cruise Line for your family's vacation next year! The 7-night Western Caribbean itinerary visits such a variety of ports, and you'll be basking in the warm glow of the Caribbean sun when your friends at home are shivering in the cold.

    I was on a Bahamian voyage this past January on the Disney Dream and not only was it warm enough to swim, but my husband got sunburned because he didn't heed my sunscreen advice. Of course, some of the places you'll visit are even closer to the equator -- so make sure you pack your swim suit, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and shorts. Yet, you may need a light jacket or sweater in the evenings -- it's breezy on deck and sometimes the air conditioning is cool in the indoor spaces.
