We are looking to do a WDW trip in the Fall 2012 or Spring 2013. I've compared the 2 bdr villas and was wondering which one you would recommend. Our party includes grandparents, mom/dad DD -7, DS - 4, & a 16 yr old niece. Price ranges from $710-$595

    Hi Jody!

All of the Disney Deluxe Villas are very nice places to stay, but four come to my mind when I think of places to stay with my own family:
    • Bay Lake Tower
    • Villas at the Wilderness Lodge
    • Beach Club Villas
    • Animal Kingdom Lodge

Bay Lake Tower's villas are the newest and they are all very nice; Bay Lake Tower is also within walking distance to the Magic Kingdom which makes it a great place to stay when you have young children in your family; families with young children typically spend a lot of time in the Magic Kingdom compared to the other parks.  Bay Lake Tower also gives you easy access to Epcot via the Epcot monorail line.

The Beach Club Villas are a great place to stay if you think you want to be close to Epcot or if having a spectacular pool is important.  I love to stay at the Beach Club in the summer time and make full use of Stormalong Bay, the premier hotel pool at Walt Disney World; it is a sand bottom pool that the whole family will love!

The Animal Kingdom Lodge is fabulous and if you want to stay at a place with exotic animals right outside, you should definitely consider the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  However, I think the Animal Kingdom Lodge is a little bit remote compared to the other resorts and I only love staying there if I have my own car or a rental car.

The Villas at the Wilderness Lodge is my personal favorite!  I love the theming of the entire resort.  I also like taking the boat to and from the Magic Kingdom.  While it is not as fast as the monorail (or walking from Bay Lake Tower), it's a very fun and relaxing way to go to my favorite theme park!

I hope this helps!  Good luck with your decision, and write back if you have any more questions!
