Hi Nick and welcome to planDisney.
Before we go any further, I just have to say that I like your thinking. A
Walt Disney World and
Disney Cruise Line vacation is the perfect combo, if you ask me!
A split stay is a great way of being able to experience everything that two different
Disney Resort Hotels have to offer, during one trip and with so many amazing Disney Resort Hotels to choose from, I can completely understand you considering this option.
Unfortunately, as you need to book a Hotel + Ticket package in order to take advantage of the Free Dining & Drinks promotion, this means that if you were to book a split stay, you would only be eligible for the
Free Dining & Drinks in 2026! deal on the booking which includes your tickets.
The only way to qualify for the Free Dining & Drinks promotion during a second 5-night stay, after your cruise, would be to purchase a second set of
Disney Magic Tickets which you obviously would not need.
I'm so sorry that this likely wasn't the news that you were hoping for.
In this situation, in order to fully take advantage of the Free Dining & Drinks promotion, I would recommend booking a 10-night Hotel + Ticket package stay at Walt Disney World, which would include the Free Dining promotion, followed by a cruise.
After 10-days visiting the Theme Parks, Water Parks and everything else that Walt Disney World has to offer, a cruise would be the perfect way to relax and un-wind, before heading home.
I hope that this information has been of use, Nick. Please feel free to re-visit us, here at planDisney, if we can be of any other help with the planning of your trip. It would be our absolute pleasure.
Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
Emma
