Hello Kelsey,
If you're looking for recommendations for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, I'd say you've come to the right place. The planDisney panelists always love to share suggestions based on our own Disney vacation experiences.
I'm happy to share some tips that can help get you started with planning your vacation. You'll likely have questions along the way, so do come back and ask us here at planDisney for additional suggestions.
The tips I'll offer here can help you plan and book your own vacation. If you prefer a travel agent take care of booking, you can do a web search for "Authorized Disney Vacation Planner" and consider working with a travel agent who has earned this special distinction for their expertise in booking Disney destination vacations.
So let's talk about when to visit, where to stay, how to book your vacation package, and how to make your theme park reservations.
I think the first question to think about is when you want to visit. You might already have a specific vacation time in mind, or your dates might be flexible. Guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks need both a theme park ticket and a theme park reservation. It's helpful to know that theme park ticket pricing is date-based. You might want to look at the
"Choose the Day You Will Visit" calendar to get an idea of ticket pricing. You might also want to check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to see when the theme parks have reservations available for the dates you'd like to visit. You might also want to check out the
"Seasonal Events Throughout the Parks" information to learn about exciting experiences available at different times of the year.
Next, think about where you'd like to stay. There are so many wonderful options available in the
Disney Resorts Collection to help make your stay magical. You might want to take some time to get familiar with the
Resorts and all that they offer. One great way to quickly get familiar with the Resorts is to check out the planDisney pocket guides like the
planDisney Pocket Guide to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. You'll see you can check out pocket guides for other Resorts, and there are more pocket guides on the way.
Next, you can use the easy online tools to
book your vacation package. Simply start by entering some basic trip information like Check In and Check Out dates and travel party details. You'll see choices for Resort hotels you can select, and after you select your Resort hotel, you'll be prompted to add your theme park tickets.
Next, you can book your theme park reservations with the
Disney Park Pass system.
Kelsey, if you need help with booking your vacation package, you can call the Walt Disney World Resort at (407)-934-7639 and speak with a Cast Member for assistance.
I hope these quick tips are helpful as you start to put together your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
Here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today, Kelsey!
