You are correct that you can take a short boat ride to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios from the Disney Swan hotel, but you can also just walk as it is very accessible to both of these theme parks! As for Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, you will have a shuttle bus available for you. (I hear that this bus is on about an “every-20-minute” rotation, but I suggest asking the Front Desk upon arrival for the schedule so you know for sure.)
You’re going to have an incredible time visiting Disney World, Jimmy — I highly suggest downloading the
My Disney Experience Mobile App before your trip so you can familiarize yourself with the map function. It’s really helpful to have wait times, restaurants, and other amenities at your fingertips! On the map, you’ll be able to see where the
Baby Care Centers are located — this will be a great place to take your 1-year-old if they need a break. They also have the best changing tables available — I much prefer them to the ones available in the bathrooms around the theme parks.
