    Hi, we are looking at visiting in October next year. We are coming from Australia, and money will be tight. We would like the Contemporary hotel, due to location. Do they have special rates, or discounts at certain times? Where would i find out?

    Hi Michelle!

    The Contemporary is a great choice and you're right about the location! You have monorail access and it's only about a five to ten minute walk to the Magic Kingdom.

    Disney frequently offers special rates and packages throughout the year. Usually the deals are released a few months prior so you'll have to keep checking back for what is offered during your travel dates next October. You can visit the Special Offers page on the Disney website to get an idea of the types of discounts offered. I would bookmark this page on your computer and check it frequently for updates pertaining to your vacation dates.

    I would also make sure that you update your profile on the Disney website to make sure that you are signed up to receive special offers via e-mail and regular mail. Make sure you have checked the boxes under the "Free E-mail Notification Service". At various times throughout the year, Disney may send you specials via e-mail and mail that aren't usually available to the general public.
