    Looking to visit WDW in 3 weeks over Thanksgiving week. Am planning on pre-purchasing photopass CD. How long does it take to receive after ordering? Looking to use photos for christmas gifts, cards, etc.

    Hi Jeanne.    If I recall correctly when I obtained my last PhotoCD in June, it was a matter of just a few days after hitting "Done" that I received my disk.    I remember getting an email indicating that within a day or two the CD has been finished and was being sent by standard shipping.   I can't recall exactly how many days, but it wasn't long afterwards it arrived in the mail.

     

    If you prefer, I know that you can pay for more expedited shipping of your CD.   This may make sense in your case.    Obviously, I suggest that shortly after returning, you upload your photos to the site and begin creating any special versions of the pictures you like (adding Disney borders and signatures).   It was a fun process and in total I received over 300 pictures on our CD!    

     

    Glad you are considering pre-purchasing as it will save you some money in the process.    You won't be disappointed with the quality of pictures and decision to obtain the CD.   We similarly plan to use one of these pictures for our family Christmas card.   Enjoy your trip!
