Hi, We are looking to visit from the UK in January 2018. To get the best prices, is it better to book accommodation far in advance? If so, when do the bookings open for January 2018? Should we book tickets and dining at the same time? Thanks

Hi Kelly and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

It's always lovely to be able to assist a fellow Brit with the planning of an upcoming trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!

I absolutely love the fact that you are already thinking about when to book your stay for January 2018 - it's never too early to start planning as far as I am concerned.

At this moment in time, it is only currently possible to book stays at Disney Resort hotels on the UK version of the Walt Disney World website up to the end of December 2016.

Based on previous years, I would expect that UK Guests will be able to book 2017 stays sometime in April.

For the past few years, a free dining promotion has also been announced in April for stays during the following year and so if you are thinking of booking a package which includes the Disney Dining Plan, I would highly recommend that you wait to see if a free dining promotion is offered again as this would represent a big saving for you.

In order to find out the earliest date that you will be able to book for a January 2018 stay, I would suggest that you call the Walt Disney Travel Company Disney Experts direct on freephone 0800 169 0730.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
