We are looking to visit in Spring 2018. With Easter being April 1, am I correct in assuming that the week before and after are the highest crowd times? Our break is March 26-30. I am interested in coming the week prior (18-24) to avoid crowds. Thoughts?

    Hey, Donna!

During March of this year, my family had a trip to Disney during our Spring Break, and the crowds were quite moderate. We visited during late March, around the 22nd, and we did not see large crowds at any of the parks.

Crowds typically begin to pick up during the last of March into the first of April, as Spring Break kicks off in Florida and the surrounding states.

The week that you are thinking of vacationing, the crowds may start out light and begin to pick up, as you will be getting close to the last week of March, where crowds start to pick up.

However, Donna, this time of year is much lighter than the summer months and holidays. So you and your family should still have a magical time and not have to wait in long lines to enjoy attractions or shows. Just be aware that the most popular attractions and shows will still have long lines,

Visiting Florida and Walt Disney World during the Spring and Winter are my favorite times of the year. Cool morning and nights will greet you and warm afternoons make walking around the parks absolutely perfect! While you're in Disney's Hollywood Studios, dine with Minnie and her pals for a Springtime soiree.

Donna, I sure hope this helped you out a bit! If you find that you have more questions, please stop by and visit with us again!

    Happy planning,
