We are looking to visit in September and we are bringing my mother who is not able to walk for miles and miles. We are looking for the best hotel option that we can walk from to parks and restaurants, shops etc, so she can return to hotel at lesiure

    Hello, Avril,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  To help with your planning, there are a handful of Disney Resorts located within close proximity to a theme park at Walt Disney World.

Magic Kingdom:  Disney's Contemporary Resort (monorail or walk), Disney's Polynesian Village Resort (monorail or boat), Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (monorail or boat) and Disney's Wilderness Lodge (boat)

Epcot:  Disney's Beach Club Resort (walk or boat), Disney's Yacht Club Resort (walk or boat), and the Boardwalk Inn (walk or boat). The boat from these resorts also takes guests to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Disney's Animal Kingdom:  Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge (short bus ride)

Once you look these over and have more questions about a specific resort, please let us know how we can help. We could share with you recommended areas of the resort that would be beneficial for your mom to request to stay at to reduce the distance she needs to walk.  Wishing you a magical trip!  -Kara
