Well, we typically don't expect the party to sell out on those days in September, but you never know!

The HUGE thing for me, is the savings you get when you pre-purchase them tickets! You can still pick them up at will call once you arrive to save on shipping fees as well!

Ultimately, if your Dad is purchasing the tickets, it's his call. (but helping him make an informed decision never hurts!)
