Hi, Kate!
I'm so happy for you - not only are you bringing a new baby into the world, but you're planning a visit to the most magical place on earth! Walt Disney World was designed for families, and because of that, there are plenty of things you'll be able to enjoy - even with a baby bump!
The Walt Disney World Resort website advises expectant mothers to check the signage posted at each attraction, which includes height requirements, health and safety advisories, and accessibility guidelines. That being said, here are the attractions that are safe for expectant moms:
- Astro Orbiter
- Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
- Country Bear Jamboree
- Dumbo the Flying Elephant
- Enchanted Tales with Belle
- Hall of Presidents
- Haunted Mansion
- "it's a small world"
- Jungle Cruise
- Liberty Square Riverboat
- The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
- The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
- Mickey's Philharmagic
- Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor
- Peter Pan's Flight
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- Prince Charming Regal Carrousel
- Swiss Family Treehouse
- Tom Sawyer Island
- Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover
- Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid
- Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress
- Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room
- Walt Disney World Railroad
Not only will you be able to experience all of these attractions, but you can also enjoy the Festival of Fantasy Parade and Happily Ever After nighttime fireworks show. Moms Panel Tip: One thing I was always in search of during my pregnancies was a restroom facility (especially in warm weather, when I was trying to stay hydrated!). Make sure to pick up a park map, so you can easily locate the nearest restroom!
Have a magical day! - Diane W.
