Hi there, Melinda! Thanks for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!
I simply adore helping my fellow Coloradans plan trips to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Halloween Time is one of my very favorite times to visit the parks so I know you and your family will have a blast. On dates when Mickey's Halloween Party takes place, Disneyland Park will close early to Guests who do not have tickets to this special event. However, Disney California Adventure Park and the Downtown Disney District will remain open. So if you have Park Hopper tickets, you could enjoy Disneyland Park during the day and then when it closes for the party, hop over to Disney California Adventure Park for the spooky fun that happens there like Guardians of the Galaxy - Monsters After Dark and all the Haul-O-Ween fun in Cars Land.
You could also spend those evenings enjoying fantastic meals in the Downtown Disney District or at the Disneyland Resort Hotels. A dinner at
Goofy's Kitchen in the Disneyland Hotel, for example, is a super fun way to spend your evening. You will delight in the expansive buffet that has oodles of options for kids and adults and a dessert bar that is mind-blowing. Plus you get to meet all sorts of characters like Goofy, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Chip, and Dale while you dine! Or, your family might want to take in a game or two of bowling at
Splitsville Luxury Lanes. Order some dinner while you bowl and you have the makings for fantastic family fun!
I'd love to help you continue to plan your trip, so please visit us again with any other questions you may have!
