Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Catherine!
I am thrilled to answer your great question about visiting the Walt Disney World Resort while expecting a Mouseketeer. Congratulations on your pregnancy!
Catherine, I visited the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks while 8 months pregnant! While I know this it not ideal for most expectant mothers, I had medical clearance from my OBGYN and an open mind about what I could and could not do while traveling “the World!” Just as expected, I had a magical time, and have now visited the theme parks with my little one multiple times.
You will be able to enjoy the majority of the “any height” rides and attractions — with the exception of a few in the water parks and just one in the theme parks. Please visit the following link for a
list of all Walt Disney World Resort rides and attractions that have “expectant mothers advisories.” The only “any height” theme park attraction with an expectant mothers advisory is Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This attraction is suitable for Guests of all heights, but because it is a bumpy ride, it is not suitable for expectant mothers.
For your convenience, please click the following link to
view all of the "any height" rides at Disney's Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Please remember that with the exception of Kilimanjaro Safaris, you can enjoy all of these. There is so much to see and enjoy at Walt Disney World Resort, even while expecting!
Catherine, I hope you enjoy your magical vacation. If you have any other questions, please visit us again!
Wishing you a Pixie-Dusted Pregnancy,
Priscila
