Hi, there!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Karen. I'm so glad you stopped by! It's my pleasure to help you plan your visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort.
As a mom of three, I know all too well the challenge of finding hotel accommodations for our family of five. Luckily, the Walt Disney World Resort features options for families of all sizes! With
over 25 Disney Resort hotels to choose from, there is something to meet every family's unique needs, interests, and budget.
My family loves
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. These Resort hotels both have a laidback vibe that is such a nice contrast to all the pixie-dusted adventures we experience in the theme parks! And the 5th Sleeper Rooms are a perfect, economical fit for all five of us. The child-size pull-down bed measures approximately 33" wide and 66" long. If one of your sons is less than 5 feet tall, he should be able to sleep quite comfortably on one of the child-size pull-down beds. Should your sons love that bed as much as my sons do, be prepared to settle the argument of who sleeps in it and when!
Another budget-friendly option for families of five is a
Family Suite at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. A Family Suite can accommodate up to six Guests with one queen-size bed, one double-size convertible bed, and one double-size sleeper sofa. These rooms also feature two bathrooms and a kitchenette! Did I mention the Family Suites are themed to beloved Disney films? Super fun!
I hope this was helpful, Karen. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
