Greetings, Gayle! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Getting to experience the Walt Disney World Resort during the holidays is a truly special occasion. Wait until you see how all four theme parks and resort hotels get dressed up to celebrate. They don’t just deck the halls, they pull out all the stops! Your granddaughter will be delighted!
Because Disney goes all out to celebrate the Holidays, this time of year is a popular time for guests to visit. But with some planning, you will be able to enjoy your vacation to the fullest. I suggest starting by creating a
My Disney Experience account. With it, you will be able to link up all your reservations, advanced dining reservations, and most importantly, your
FastPass+ selections, so you can enjoy even more attractions throughout the day. Something that I use to help me in my planning is searching for crowd calendars online. These are third party sites that predict how the crowds will be and recommend which theme park to visit on which day. Keep in mind, these are just predictions and these sites are not affiliated with Disney. But I have found them helpful in my planning!
Another thing to consider is planning for special events, like a personal favorite,
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. This special event has a limited amount of tickets available. You will love enjoying the special parades and entertainment during the party and on those nights, wait times for attractions are usually very low.
I hope you and your granddaughter have a merry and magical time when you visit! Don’t hesitate to come back and see us with any additional questions!
