Hey howdy hey, Kelly, and welcome to planDisney! I’m thrilled that you’ve stopped by our neck of the woods with this rootin’ tootin’ question about dining plans at Walt Disney World Resort! I firmly believe that a dining plan can make your vacation even more magical because it helps you stay in the moment, knowing that you’ve already taken care of the bill!
Kelly, you can’t go wrong with either the
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan or the
Disney Dining Plan. The Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan is awesome for folks who like to be a little spontaneous and remain flexible during their vacation. I love the Disney Dining Plan because I enjoy having a meal at a table service restaurant each day that I visit a Disney Theme Park. It gives me a set time to relax and recharge for the rest of the day, and my family loves having that time to catch up and chat about our favorite experiences. Each dining plan also includes a resort refillable mug that you can use in your hotel for fountain beverages and coffee - this is a great value that we always take advantage of throughout our stay. When you arrive, you’ll have the ability to use your meals and snacks at any point throughout your stay, up until midnight on the day you check out. If you’re like me, you’ll end up using lots of snacks at
EPCOT!
The Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan includes two quick-service meals and one snack per night of stay at your Disney Resorts Collection hotel. A quick-service meal typically includes an entree and a drink. At
Backlot Express at
Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can order a Cuban Sandwich that comes with plantain chips. If you’re over 21, the drink can be an alcoholic beverage.
The Disney Dining Plan includes one table service meal, one quick service meal, and a snack per night of stay. A table service meal includes an entree and a dessert, as well as a beverage. At
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen at
Magic Kingdom Park, you can have the Baa Baa Lamb Chops (delicious) and the Panna-Connie’s Congo Lime Delight with the House-made Skipper Sangria (my exact order). A table service meal could also be an all-you-care-to-eat meal like you’ll find at Tusker House Restaurant.
Kelly, as you can see, each dining plan option offers tremendous value, and it’s really all about how you like to vacation. If you’re like me and want to have some amazing seated meals, the Disney Dining Plan might be for you. If you want to be more flexible, consider the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. If you’d like any more recommendations on where to find awesome meals and snacks, you have a friend in me! Stop back by planDisney anytime with questions you have as you continue your countdown to vacation!
Bon appetit!
