looking to upgrade to annual pass holders, what are the steps I need to take. My trip to Disney is Dec 1-10 2018

Hello Leon! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Upgrading Magic Your Way Theme Park Admission to a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass is an excellent benefit for those Guests who know they will be returning to the "House of Mouse" within a year.

When you arrive at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel for your visit in December, you may discuss upgrading your Theme Park Admission to an Annual Pass by speaking with a Cast Member at any of the Ticket Windows at Walt Disney World Theme Parks and Disney Springs. In addition, you may speak with a Cast Member at the Concierge desk at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel to upgrade your Theme Park Admission.

At that point, the Cast Member will discuss the cost of the upgrade, taking into account the Theme Park Admission you currently have and go through the process of activating an Annual Pass for you. All Guests must be present at the time of the upgrade and be sure to have photo identification for any Guest wishing to upgrade to an Annual Pass. I recommend that you have a My Disney Experience Account and have everyone linked to your account before you speak with a Cast Member to expedite the process.

The process of upgrading does not take much time and your Annual Pass will be retroactively dated to the first day you used your Theme Park Admission for a year of visits to Walt Disney World Resort. You may upgrade at any point during your visit.

Have a Magical Year of Visits!
