Looking for a TS dinner after a part day at Epcot. Looking for something with relatively easy transport. (no car) from Epcot and then home to Car. Beach. We have 3 kids (6-8) and a picky eater. Something special that's worth the effot. Thanks!

Hello Bethany.  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My family and I love dining at 'Ohana for dinner.  'Ohana is located on the second level of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.  To get there from Epcot, simply hop on the bus designated to go to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.  After dinner, take the short monorail ride to the Magic Kingdom and then walk to the bus stop and look for Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort.  It is very easy getting around Walt Disney World.

The food at 'Ohana is just fantastic.  Your cousin (server) will bring you bread and salad to start your meal and next pork dumplings and chicken wings. Yum!  My picky eater loves the chicken wings. Then you will feast on all-you-care-to-enjoy pork, shrimp and steak all cooked on a wood fire grill right in the middle of the restaurant.  Side items include the best cooked broccoli I have ever had and some great noodles that the kids will love.  While you dine, your kids can enjoy some dining room entertainment like hula dancing, coconut races and even the limbo!  For dessert, a wonderful bread pudding is served with a big scoop of ice cream right on top and sauce on the side.  This meal is really just out of this world.  We like to try to get a reservation 1 hour prior to the fireworks at Magic Kingdom.  If you time it just right, while enjoying dessert the lights dim and music from the firework show gets piped in.  Request a window seat and you will have the perfect view of the fireworks.  It is our favorite way to spend an evening at Walt Disney World.

'Ohana is the #1 meal I recommend to people.  It is fun and delicious, absolutely worth checking out.  If you have any other questions about your next Walt Disney World vacation, please let me know.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
