    Looking at 2012 trip.Oct.13-20 or Nov.24-1.I went the week after Thanksgiving in 2010.Thought it was great.Only reason for Oct. is school break.How would Oct. compare to the Nov. dates.I am really wondering about crowds and weather.Thanks in advance.

    Welcome back to the Moms Panel Carlene!

    Love to see that you're planning your 2012 trip! The fall is a great time to visit Disney World. Here are the average temperatures for October & November:

    October
    * Average high temperature: 84.6
    * Average low temperature: 65.8
    * Average precipitation: 2.42

    November
    * Average high temperature: 78.5
    * Average low temperature: 57.5
    * Average precipitation: 2.30

    Keep in mind that these are averages so it can vary. For the most part, I've found October & November nice weather months to visit but you should expect temperatures to be a little cooler in November.

    Right before my trip, I always check out the 10-day forecast at www.weather.com.  You can search the forecast for Disney World to see if there are any crazy weather patterns predicted during your visit so that you'll know how to pack for your trip.

    While I don't have a pink crystal ball, October may be a little more crowded because of families on fall break. The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is usually in full swing which brings foodies and wine connoisseurs from far and wide. If you're one of them, you may enjoy visiting during this time of year.

    Usually the week after Thanksgiving week is a really fun time to visit the parks. A lot of guests head home the Sunday after Thanksgiving but the parks really jump into holiday season mode making it a great place to be.

    Please let us know if you have any other questions during your planning. We're thrilled to be able to assist you!

    Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
