We are looking at travelling to Disneyworld around Spring Vacation 2012. We have been to Disneyland before. With two young children, what would you suggest as a reasonable time frame for visiting the park - ie how many days are we likely to need?

    Hi Tania!

Welcome to the most magical place on earth! Walt Disney World is a busy place around Spring Break, one of the busiest times of year. I suggest that you try to at get in the equivalent of at least 5 full days. There are 4 theme parks and 2 waterparks. Since you have young children, you know how they tolerate a vigorous schedule, better than anyone else. I would plan 1 day for each park because of the crowds at the time of year you are visiting. During off-peak times of year, you can get through Animal Kingdom and Epcot in the same day. (with the use of Extra Magic Hours)  Also, this amount of time will allow you to get some character dining experiences in. I hope you are planning to make your reservations exactly 6 months in advance, to get the dining experiences that you want. I hope this helps in these early stages of your planning. Keep the questions coming!
