We are looking at traveling to Disney World in Nov. My youngest daughter is two. I know she does not need a ticket but do I need to do anything special once we arrive to the park? (bring a birth certificate, etc) Also, will she receive a magic band?

    Hello Sarah!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am happy to find out you are planning a visit for November. It is a great time of the year to be at the Walt Disney World Resort.

You will not be required to present a birth certificate or any other type of document for your daughter when you arrive at the theme parks. If you feel safer, you can bring identification with you, but it is fine to leave it in your hotel room. I usually travel with my daughter’s birth certificate and ID, but to avoid losing them I leave them in the hotel safe.

Your little one will receive a MagicBand if you stay at a Disney Resort hotel, isn’t that adorable? It’s so cute to see them wearing them on their tiny wrists. Even though she won’t have tickets or FastPass+ selections, she can still touch her MagicBand to the Mickey at the entrance of attractions. They love doing just like the bigger kids and grownups. A great feature of the MagicBand is that you can personalize it by choosing your favorite color, and you can also adjust the size to fit your daughter’s wrist.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! For more tips on traveling with little ones, check out the Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones Guide. You will find great information on attractions, experiences, and resources to plan your visit.

    Best magical wishes,
