We are looking to travel to Walt Disney World in April with a two little girls, six years old and four years old. I need suggestions on where to stay?

    Hey Darcy,

There are so many different directions I could go with this question!  The Walt Disney World Resort has over twenty resorts to choose from and there is at least one to fit every budget.  You could use price to narrow down your choices or you could let the theme of the resort guide you.

Since you are traveling with two little girls, I'm inclined to suggest Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.  Nestled along the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon, this resort is incredibly convenient for families who wish to frequent the Magic Kingdom.  If your little gals typically take a mid-afternoon nap, the monorail or a resort boat will whisk you from the Magic Kingdom back to your hotel room in a matter of minutes.  That truly is priceless when someone in your travel party needs some down time.

There are also some fun activities for your princesses to enjoy while at the Grand Floridian.  On weekdays from 2:00 - 3:00 pm, children ages 4 to 12 can join Alice and her friends at a Wonderland Tea Party in the restaurant known as 1900 Park Fare.  Your daughters may also enjoy swimming in one of the Grand Floridian's beautiful pools.  There's an arcade at Gasparilla's Grill & Games, too.  Disney's Polynesian Resort is only a short walk away so you'll have access to all the shows and restaurants there as well.

There are so many wonderful places to stay at Walt Disney World, but if I had two young princesses of my own to take to the most magical place on earth, I would definitely stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.  You're going to love it!
