I am looking to travel to Disney with more than 10 people. What is the best way to go about planning this vacation? We will need separate rooms, so would it be easier to book separately and link our accounts, or is there a way for us to book together?

    Howdy Ryan!

Welcome to planDisney!  I love your question, and I am super excited to help you with a few ideas!  Thank you for sharing your question with us!

I love planning a vacation for a large party!  There is some extra work needed, but there is nothing better than “Making Memories to Last a Lifetime” with family and friends!  Once you have decided on your dates and which resort works best for your party, then the real planning fun begins!  I recommend making your reservation first, then sharing your reservation number with everyone needing to make a reservation.  I would also recommend choosing a package which includes room and tickets.  By making a package reservation, if someone needs to cancel due to their circumstances, they can cancel their reservation for a full refund as long as they do so at the appropriate time.  I would also recommend each person reserving their package for everyone staying in their room by calling the Walt Disney World Resort so that they can be linked with your reservation at the resort.  You can even request rooms in the same area.  Once everyone has their reservation, then make sure you are all linked through My Disney Experience.  By doing this, you can make Disney Park Pass Reservations and dining reservations for everyone traveling with you.

Your vacation sounds fantastic!  I have a couple of other suggestions that you might enjoy!  I like to schedule a dining reservation for each day of my vacation.  This is the perfect way for your entire party to meet up and enjoy a meal and talk about the day!  Some of my favorite memories have been made during my dining experiences.  Also, I recommend adding Memory Maker to your reservation.  With Memory Maker, everyone will be able to capture photos if you are all together or separate enjoying different attractions.  I love capturing all these memories while on vacation and then coming home, downloading them, and sharing these unforgettable memories with my family and friends.

There are lots of exciting things coming to the Walt Disney World Resort in the months to come!  To stay informed of all of them, check out the Disney Parks Blog!

If you have any more questions while planning your grand adventure, please come back to planDisney, Ryan!  We look forward to helping you with all your planning questions!
