We are looking to travel to Disney the beginning of June with our almost 2 year old for her birthday. This will be her first time at Disney. What is the best toddler friendly resort? Which resort has the best toddler friendly pool? Magic Bands a plus :)

    Hello Casey,

Well, first off, let me wish your little one a very happy early birthday! She is going to have so much fun and I'm sure you all will create very special memories to treasure for a lifetime.

I would highly recommend Disney's Art of Animation Resort. This value resort is filled with larger than life theming of some of the most beloved Disney movies and characters. There are standard rooms with Little Mermaid theming as well as family suites in the Cars, Lion King and Finding Nemo themes. If you are traveling with just the three of you, the standard room would offer plenty of room and I really think she'll love the special touches in these rooms.

The Big Blue Pool at this resort is absolutely amazing. Fashioned after the ocean in Finding Nemo, you will find a heated zero entry pool and splash pad area that are perfect for little tots. It is also the largest pool on all of Walt Disney World property and offers the super cool technology of being able to hear music underwater, something you can't find at any other pool on property. In addition to this awesome pool, there two other pool areas in the Cars section and Little Mermaid section and a playground called the Righteous Reef located in the Finding Nemo courtyard.

MagicBands are currently being tested resort wide, so you should be able to get them for your upcoming trip. I hope you have a very magical trip and feel free to stop by with more planning questions. I would love to help in any way I can.
