Hiya Katie,
Welcome planDisney! We are so happy you are here and planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Ever since I became a mom, I have been constantly amazed by the amount of stuff I travel with. Between a stroller, suitcases, and a travel crib, I always feel like I look like I’m moving in. I completely understand wanting to avoid carrying a car seat on top of everything else.
As you mentioned, not having a car seat does limit your ability to use rideshare services; luckily, there is an option you can use to get from Orlando International Airport to
Disney’s Contemporary Resort! With Mears Connect Driven by Sunshine, you and your family can leave your car seat behind and arrive comfortably to your resort hotel. You do not need a car seat for their transportation options; even better, children under three ride free on their standard service! To reserve your spot for your trip, head to their website and input your trip details. It is as easy as bibbidi bobbidi boo!
Before I let you go, Katie if you are looking to avoid packing a travel crib for your trip, don’t forget to request a
complimentary crib or Pack ‘n Play at every Resort at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. The Pack ‘n’ Plays are subject to availability, so if you want to make the request before your arrival, you can call to speak to a Cast Member in
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations to have a note added to your reservation.
I hope this was helpful, Katie. Please come back and see me if you need anything else. I’ve been to Walt Disney World Resort with my one-year-old multiple times over the past year, and I’ve learned some tips to make your trip as magical as possible.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
