I've been looking at TouringPlans for crowd calendars and noticed mainly low crowds when we're there in September (8th-15th). But 9/10 HS is listed as 7. I know they have EMH, but still...any idea why it'd be so high?

    Hey Krystal,

While I can't speak on behalf of the awesome folks over at TouringPlans, I am assuming the crowd level is mainly due to the Evening Extra Magic Hours.  When Disney's Hollywood Studios is open until midnight, the crowds really seem to pick up, especially once it gets closer to the evening.  Who doesn't love extra time to ride The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror?

At this time, I'm not seeing any additional events or activities which would increase the crowd levels.  I would keep an eye on the crowd calendar for the next couple of months to see if it changes.  You can also contact the team at TouringPlans to see if they can offer any additional insight into their calculations for that day.

I hope you come back and see us again real soon!
