Hi looking for that over the top gotta try snack/dessert (not kitchen sink). Will be visiting all parks and downtown disney and boardwalk. What should we not miss trying? Just DH and me this trip?

Hello Lisa.  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I consider myself to be a professional snacker at Walt Disney World.  There are so many great treats to choose from.

At Magic Kingdom, Dole Whip Floats from Aloha Isle in Adventureland is a must do.  A Dole Whip Float is a pineapple soft serve topped with pineapple juice.  I like to order mine with the pineapple and vanilla swirl, I think the vanilla cuts the sweetness a little bit and adds a nice depth of flavor.  Another great find, at Magic Kingdom, is the fresh made ice cream cookie sandwich.  You can find these at Sleepy Hallow in the Liberty Square area.

At Disney's Hollywood Studios, we never miss the opportunity for a Carrot Cake Cookie.  The carrot cake cookie is located at the Writer's Stop and you can find it anytime of day.  I particularly like to enjoy mine for breakfast but I've been known to go back later in the day too.  The Writer's Stop also has some really great coffee, making it a nice morning stop.  My family also likes to snack on a butterfinger cupcake from Starring Rolls Cafe, also located at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  It is so good but super sweet, we always share it.

At Epcot, I love visiting Karamell-Kuche in the Germany Pavilion.  I highly recommend the fresh, still warm caramel corn but everything is delicious.

At Downtown Disney, we never miss stopping in Goofy's Candy Company for some sweet treats.  I like the chocolate covered marshmallows, my daughter likes the make your own treat section and my husband always goes for the jumbo rice crispy treat.  We also top our sweet tooth off with a Goofy Glacier, which is pretty much like a frozen coke but they have a variety of flavors to choose from.

I hope I have given you a few treats to look for on your next Walt Disney World vacation.  Have a magical day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
