When looking for a tennis shoe to wear to Disney (have crocs but think they will cause blisters) what is the best choice for softness? Would running or walking shoes be best, or does it matter? Looking for something with lots of cushion. Thanks!!

Hi Gina, one thing is for sure...you WILL do a lot of walking on your Disney trip!

I personally do not notice a difference between walking and running shoes.  You'll probably want to try on a few pairs to see what is most comfortable for your feet.  My feet tend to like the New Balance walking shoes.

One thing I've noticed with almost any sneaker is, if you take out the insert, you will see it's very flat without too much cushion or support.  For this reason, I also purchase an additional set of quality inserts for my sneakers.  If you shop at a sporting store, they will help you find a good pair of inserts for your sneakers and will also fit them for you. I find this makes a significant difference for my feet.

I would suggest you purchase your sneakers at least a few weeks before your Disney trip if possible to give your feet time to get used to them.

I also wouldn't rule out bringing your crocs!  Crocs are very fashionable at Disney.  You may want to bring them along and wear them from time to time.
