    We are looking into taking Lyft to get to our hotel from the airport when we arrive. It's myself and my teenage daughter going to WDW and we are nervous taking a Lyft. Does the app have a tracker in it that will allow us to follow the route to hotel?

     Welcome back to planDisney, Nicole. We just love when you stop by! It's my pleasure to answer another one of your planning questions. 

     I completely understand your concern. I traveled to the Walt Disney World Resort on my own for a visit with some of my dear planDisney friends a few years ago, and I felt very unsettled about using a rideshare service by myself. It was all for naught! I'm happy to tell you that the Lyft app has a feature that allows you to track your ride as you are in the vehicle. As an added safety precaution, you can even share a link with family and friends that shows your ride location in real-time. Isn't that cool? I encourage you to visit the Lyft website for additional safety information. I think you'll feel much better about using this service when you read about the in-app safety features!
