    We are looking at taking our first Disney Cruise in February, we have a four year old son - can you tell me what he should wear for dining if we are dining together in the main restaurants? Also is there Character dining at meals?

    Hi Jan,

    You've come to the right place if you're considering a Disney Cruise!  I have found that this is a vacation that offers something for everyone - and is one of the easiest, stress-free vacations we've taken with our children.

    I have a five year old son, and for dinner he will typically be dressed in pants and a collared shirt.  On the "cruise casual" evenings I would allow him to wear dress shorts with his collared shirt.  The 7-night voyages have a formal evening, and for that he would would be dressed in pants and shirt with tie.

    Voyages of 7-nights or longer feature a character breakfast.  All voyages have ample character interaction opportunities - you can learn more about there HERE.
