Howdy, Terence! Welcome to planDisney!
If you ask me, it's always the right time to plan your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Of course, that goes double these days with all the fabulous new attractions, restaurants, and so much more to enjoy around every corner! So, Terence, I’m so happy to be able to answer your questions so we can get you on your way to your magical journey!
While your theme park tickets are nonrefundable, you can absolutely change the start date of your tickets, should you need to reschedule. You’ll just need to follow the steps below before your originally scheduled ticket start date.
- First, log into your My Disney Experience app.
- Open up the menu in the bottom right corner, and click on "Tickets and Passes."
- Then, click on the ticket you currently have scheduled for February.
- Select "Change Ticket."
- Use the calendar to select the new date and follow the prompts to complete the change, and you are all set!
Now, I just want to quickly remind you that you will need to secure your Theme Park Reservations ahead of your trip. A reservation is required for the first park you plan to visit each day. Then, if you have added the Park Hopper Option to your ticket, you can hop over to another park after 2 p.m. each afternoon. Some dates do get booked up, so before you go ahead and change your theme park ticket date, I strongly recommend checking the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to make sure you can enjoy all the parks you were hoping to visit. I would hate for you to change your tickets only to find that your preferred theme park is sold out!
Of course, if you have any trouble changing your ticket, you can absolutely reach out to the Existing Tickets team at (407) 934-7639, and they will be happy to take care of this for you.
I know there is a lot to consider when planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, so just know that the team here at planDisney is here to help! We love answering questions from fellow Guests to help make their vacation as magical as possible, so please don't hesitate to reach out with any other questions you may have!
Until next time,
Diana
