I am looking into the Sunrise Safari at AKL. My husband and I really want to do it, but can't find any information regarding age recommendations. Our son will be turning 2 and while I think he would love it, I desperately need an opinion and info... Thx

    Hi Lauren!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.  There is no age limit for the Sunrise Safari, just for the Sunset Safari.  The safari is basically a tour along the ride path used in the attraction Kilimanjaro Safari.  However, the Sunrise Safari tour lasts about 45 minutes long and includes multiple stops so that you can stand up and take pictures.  After that you go to breakfast!

Only you can decide if your son will love it.  Some young children absolutely do, while others get bored of just "standing around" and looking at animals.  I think it will really depend on your son.  However, I personally think the safari is a lot of fun and my children didn't have any problems with it when they were younger.  If you decide to try this, I suggest making reservations ASAP as this is a very popular experience!

I'm sorry I don't have a more straight forward answer for you, but good luck with your decision.  Please write back if you have any more questions.
