Hi Maria! Welcome to planDisney! Sounds like you're planning a very special visit to the Disneyland Resort. I'm happy to help answer your questions and get you on your way!
Since you asked specifically about the Disneyland Hotel and Pixar Place Hotel, I spoke with two very friendly Cast Members at both hotels who could provide details on these particular rooms.
You'll be happy to know, Maria, that generally the number of bedrooms corresponds with the number of bathrooms, so for both the 2 Bedroom Family Connecting Suite and the 2 Bedroom Junior Connecting Suite at the
Disneyland Hotel, there would be two bathrooms. The main difference between the 2 Bedroom Family Connecting Suite and the 2 Bedroom Junior Connecting Suite is the room configuration, as the 2 Bedroom Family Connecting Suite is a bit larger and can accommodate an additional bed and sleep up to 10.
As for the brand-new, and may I add, delightfully themed,
Pixar Place Hotel the Two Bedroom Connecting Suite sleeps up to 9 adults and does have two bathrooms. Every suite is located on the third floor (which gives easy access to the very fun Finding Nemo-inspired pool, also on the third floor)!
In the Two Bedroom Suite at Pixar Place Hotel, the main bedroom with a King bed has its own huge bathroom, with a walk-in shower and soaking tub. The second room with two Queen beds has a smaller bathroom with a walk-in shower. All bathrooms in Disney Resort Hotels include shampoo, conditioner, and body wash - so save that space in your suitcases!
For more details on all Disneyland Resort Hotel room and suite types, visit
the Disneyland website. The pictures will also help you get a lay of the land, as well as a peek into the magical theming.
But trust me, whichever suite you choose - you can't go wrong!
If you do find yourself at Disneyland Hotel, even if just passing through the beautiful property, make sure to check out the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad diorama in the Frontier Tower Lobby. The diorama was built to a 1/4" to 1' scale of Frontierland's famous coaster and is a recreation of the original model used by Imagineers in the 1970s to create Big Thunder. It's incredible and my family, including two young sons, can't get enough of taking in every little detail.
I hope I was able to provide some helpful information for you, Maria, and that you'll be immersed in the magic soon! As you continue to prepare for your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, please don't hesitate to come back and
ask me another question! I'd love to share more of my tips and recommendations for a truly magical time in Disneyland, like maybe where to find the best Disneyland snacks or some strategies to make sure you hit all your top priorities. If you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true.
See you soon!
Magic awaits,
McCayla
