Looking for some suggestions for Thanksgiving Diner at a WDW restaurant.

    Hi Majorie!

One of my favorite Thanksgivings of all time was spent with my family at Walt Disney World Resort a few years ago. We dined at Artist Point on the ground floor of Disney's Wilderness Lodge. They provided us with the option of a turkey dinner with tasty and inventive side dishes or we could choose from a variety of dishes with the restaurant's typical Northwestern flair. It was a delicious meal followed by a delightful exploration of the resort's beautiful grounds all decorated for Christmas.

Although there are many other fabulous restaurants from which you may choose for a Thanksgiving feast, the one that seems most fitting to the holiday is Liberty Tree Tavern. This restaurant is found in Liberty Square of Magic Kingdom Park. With six dining rooms named after prominent patriots in American history, it feels like the perfect place to celebrate an All-American holiday. The classic American fare they serve family-style, including turkey and traditional side dishes, is perfect for a Thanksgiving celebration.

If you're looking for a type of cuisine that doesn't involve turkey and all the fixings, just let us know in a follow-up question. We'd love to help your family find the perfect place to enjoy Thanksgiving. And once you have decided where you'd like to eat for the holiday, don't forget to call (407) WDW-DINE, or (407) 939-3463 to make advance dining reservations up to 180 days prior to the start date of your vacation.

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Jill
