Looking for suggestions for resorts with a 2yo. Stayed at BLT this past Oct & although location was convenient, alot of $ was spent on a room we didn't spend much time in. We plan on coming again in Dec 12 for his birthday. We plan on staying 8 or 9

    Hi Kristen,

I totally understand!  I would love to suggest my family's favorite moderate resort - Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter.  We love this resort because it is smaller than the other moderate resorts.  If you love the city of New Orleans, then you will love this resort.

If it's warm enough then check out Doubloon Lagoon, the pool complex, which includes a waterslide and it is very fun!  There's also a playground that your little Nemo will enjoy.  Not far from the Doubloon Lagoon is Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory Food Court.  You will find American and Creole food in the food court.  Be sure to try the Beignets!!  Just make sure you have plenty of napkins for the powdered sugar.

If the food court does not satisfy your appetite, then you can take the water taxi (free of charge) to Downtown Disney.  There's a wide variety of restaurants to choose from here.  I hope this helps!

    Have a magical day!
