I was looking for some suggestions on places to eat. We are a family of 5, kids ages 5,4 and an infant. The only thing I have book is breakfast at Chef Mickey.

    Hi Nicole,

With the one exception of Victoria & Albert's, every restaurant at Walt Disney World is child friendly, so you have a world of options in front of you.

As a first step, you should familiarize yourself with what's out there. The complete menus of every Disney restaurant are available on the independent website allears.net. There are reviews and photos of most restaurants on DisneyFoodBlog.com. Disney Food Blog has a great feature called the Restaurant Search Tool. You can click boxes for location, price, type of cuisine, etc. and it will tell you what your choices are.

As a starting point, I'll tell you some of my family's favorites when my kids were preschoolers. In the Magic Kingdom, the Crystal Palace character meal with Winnie the Pooh is a big hit, and if you have girls, the meal in the Castle are a must-do. If you're looking for quick service, the corn dog nuggets at Casey's are super yum.

At Epcot, I like to graze my way around the World Showcase. If your kids are Ratatouille fans, then try the Chef's de France restaurant. Or if you like Mexican, La Hacienda de San Angel is a nice option.

At Disney's Hollywood Studios, the Sci-Fi Dine-In is hoot. You get to sit in cars while you eat, like at real drive-in.

And at the Animal Kingdom, the Tusker House character meal is terrific. They have traditional American foods for the kiddos, and some unique African dishes as well, so both cautious and adventurous eaters are taken care of.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you need any more suggestions.
