Looking for suggestions for a memorable dinner our first night on property (so not in-park), but the youngest kid will 4 and so not looking for "nice". We've done O'hana, and would consider Chef Mickey's. Any other gems to consider?

Hello Nikki! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

One of my family's favorite things to do on our first night at Walt Disney World Resort is to find a new Table Service Dining Location that we have never experienced before.

If you are looking for an early Character Dining Experience, Cinderella’s Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fair in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is a fabulous venue where you get to meet all of Cinderella's extended family. The contrast of Characters, from Cinderella herself to her stepsisters and even Lady Tremaine, provides some magical moments that make it unlike other Character Dining Opportunities.

Disney Springs has 2 kid-friendly dining venues in T-Rex and Rainforest Cafe at Disney Springs Marketplace. Whether you are transported back to the age of the dinosaurs at T-Rex or deep into the wild at Rainforest Cafe, the theme provides some early thematic magic for the beginning of your Walt Disney World resort vacation.

Finally, I would be remiss to not direct you to my favorite Dining Experience in all of Walt Disney World resort : Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campgrounds. Here you will have a hootenanny of a good time with kid-friendly food and an amazing show that personifies Disney magic.

    Have a Magical First Night!
