Looking for suggestions for deluxe hotel/resort accommodations for our visit in March 2015 keeping in mind it will be 2 adults and 12yr old daughter. It can be one room with 2 queens, but we are not interested in a sleeper sofa arrangement for our daughter

Hi Gina! Thanks for stopping by with your question!

When our family decides to go deluxe, our two “go to” resort hotels are Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. At both resorts; in the standard view rooms, you can request a room with two queen beds. Disney’s Contemporary resort also has one day bed in addition to the two queen beds in their standard view rooms. I have always found the rooms at both resort hotels to be spacious and comfortable. It is also wonderful that the tub and shower area is separate from the sink and vanity area.

Both resort hotels offer the resort monorail, and if you choose to stay at Disney’s Contemporary Resort you can walk to Magic Kingdom Park. Another great perk to staying at either of these resorts is the Electrical Water Pageant. This nighttime water parade will leave you giggling at the sea creatures, and saluting the twinkling flags as they make their way across the lagoon.

I hope that you have a magical vacation and that you take a ride on the Monorail for me!
