Hi! We are looking at staying at Wilderness Lodge in June. It would be five of us - 2 adults, a 5 yr old, a 2 yr old, and a 7 month old. The baby would be sleeping in a pack n play. Are we allowed to stay in a standard room that sleeps up to 4 adults?

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Erin!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by, and we can't wait to help you plan your upcoming trip to Disney World! It looks like you will be arriving in a few months—WOO HOO! We know you are going to have the BEST time ever! So get ready to pack your bags, put on your Mickey ears, and we can't wait to "See You REAL Soon!"

First of all, you are going to love staying at Wilderness Lodge! This resort is like stepping into a breathtaking mountain retreat where the beauty of nature meets the MAGIC of Disney! With its cozy, rustic atmosphere, stunning lobby, and peaceful lakeside setting, it’s the perfect escape while still being just a quick boat ride away from Magic Kingdom. From the incredible dining options to the fun activities like the geyser eruption and nightly campfires, every moment at Wilderness Lodge feels like an unforgettable adventure!

So, are you ready for some TIGGER-ific news?! I am very happy to inform you that your family can stay in a standard room at Wilderness Lodge, even though the website states the room accommodates up to four adults. From my experience, Disney resorts allow one child under the age of three to stay in a room that will not count as part of the room's occupancy limit. Don't you just love happy endings?

Oh, and did you know you can also request a complimentary Pack 'n Play for your little one during your stay? Having five kids of my own, I totally understand how much stuff you have to bring from home. It's just so nice to have one less thing on your packing list! NOTE: I WOULD pack crib sheets with you. I found that "home" sheets helped our babies sleep so much better since all of them were used to the feel and smell of the sheets from home.

As you continue to plan, please make sure to check out the Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date information regarding all things Disney! Mickey and his pals have some incredible things planned, and we don't want you to miss a thing!

If you have other questions, please let us know. We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!

    Wes
